NEON SURGE: Hero Swarm (“the game”) is made by M94 Games, a brand of Arba Wa Tisoon Trading Establishment (مؤسسة اربع وتسعون التجارية), 6234 Al Olaya St, Al Woroud Dist., Riyadh 12215-2993, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the game collects, why, who receives it, and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected].
The short version
- The game has no accounts. It never asks for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.
- Your progress is saved on your device.
- On first launch the game asks before anything optional starts. Gameplay analytics and personalized ads stay off until you choose, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings.
- Ads play only when you choose to watch a rewarded ad. VIP members get the rewards without ads.
- Payments are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your card details.
1. Data stored only on your device
Your game progress, settings, privacy choices and a record of completed purchases (so an item is never delivered twice) are stored on your device and are not sent to us. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes them. The game has no cloud backup, so we cannot restore lost progress.
2. Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own terms and privacy policies. The game receives a confirmation of each purchase (the product, a transaction ID and the date) to deliver your item and keeps it on your device. We do not receive your payment details.
3. Game settings from our server
After you answer the privacy prompt, the game downloads its current settings (such as prices, rewards and season dates) from Unity Gaming Services, provided by Unity Technologies. For this, Unity creates an anonymous player ID for your installation and receives basic technical information: the app version, device model, operating system, language and your IP address, from which a country can be derived. This is used only to deliver the settings to the game.
4. Gameplay analytics (only if you allow it)
If “Gameplay analytics” is on, the game sends events about how it is played to Unity Analytics (Unity Technologies), for example sessions, stages played and their results, upgrades, store visits, purchases (product and price) and rewarded ads watched. The events carry your anonymous player and installation IDs, device information (model, operating system, language), on iOS the identifier for vendor, and your approximate location (country or region) derived from your IP address. They are not linked to your name or contact details. We use them to balance the game, find problems and improve it.
Turning analytics off in Settings stops the collection. “Delete my analytics data” in Settings erases what was sent and stops the collection; you can also ask us (section 10).
5. Rewarded ads
The game shows an ad only when you choose to watch a rewarded video, for example to refill energy, double a reward or revive. Ads are delivered by Unity LevelPlay and the ad networks it works with (listed below). To deliver ads, limit how often you see them, prevent fraud and measure results, these companies collect:
- device identifiers: on Android your advertising ID; on iOS the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking, otherwise the identifier for vendor;
- your IP address and approximate location;
- device and app information, such as model, operating system, language and network type;
- your interactions with ads (views, clicks, completions) and technical performance data.
Personalized ads (only if you allow it): partners may use this data to show ads based on your interests and to measure them across apps. If you don’t allow it, ads are not personalized and partners use the data only to deliver, limit, secure and measure them. On iPhone, the system’s tracking prompt appears only after you allow personalized ads, and rewards never depend on your answer. Unity Ads also shows a privacy icon inside its ads where you can manage its personalized ads.
Ad partners: Unity LevelPlay and Unity Ads (Unity Technologies, privacy policy).
6. Who receives data
- Unity Technologies, for game settings, analytics and ads (sections 3 to 5).
- The ad networks listed in section 5, for advertising.
- Apple and Google, for purchases.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data for money. Under some laws, such as California’s, letting ad partners use data for personalized ads can count as “sharing”; you can opt out at any time by turning off personalized ads.
7. Why we process data
- To run the game and deliver your purchases: to provide the service you asked for.
- Gameplay analytics and personalized ads: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings.
- Non-personalized ads that keep the game free, security and fraud prevention: our legitimate interests.
8. International transfers
Unity and the ad partners may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. They protect it with recognized safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, and transfers from Saudi Arabia follow the Personal Data Protection Law and its regulations.
9. How long data is kept
Data on your device stays until you delete the game or its data. Unity and the ad partners keep data under their own retention policies and delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed. You can ask for deletion at any time (section 10).
10. Your choices and rights
- In the game: turn gameplay analytics and personalized ads on or off in Settings.
- iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID (the path can differ by device).
Depending on where you live, for example under Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law, the EU or UK GDPR, or California law, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, receive a copy of it, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw your consent. Email [email protected] and include the player ID shown in the game’s Settings, since the game has no accounts we could look you up by. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to a data protection authority, such as the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) or the authority where you live.
11. Children
NEON SURGE is rated for ages 13 and up and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the game and data was collected, contact us and we will delete it. If you are under the age at which you can give consent in your country, ask a parent or guardian before allowing analytics or personalized ads.
12. Security
Data sent by the game and by its partners’ software travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method is completely secure, which is why the game collects only the data described here.
13. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top, and for important changes we will tell you in the game.
